His earnest tone made you release a small whimper of need, forged from the desire to be wanted even more by him. Homelander let out yet another chuckle against your back, this time adjusting to where he was sitting up straight and you sliding further down his lap.
“You know,” you began, pausing to bite your lip to suppress another whimper when he began rubbing your thigh, “Ashley is gonna kill us if this gets out..”
He pulled back, scoffing with what you couldn’t tell was actual annoyance or not. His blue eyes, now tinted with a shade of black from his blown pupils, bore deep into yours on the screen—you thought your heart was going to explode out of your chest. Homelander’s eyes trailed down after a moment, beginning to rub your thigh again. “Fuck Ashley,” his eyes snapped back up to meet yours in the computer screen, “and fuck everyone else that isn’t you and I.”

Rhaenyra Targaryen is on track to burn out after college—sure, she studies business to appease her father, but all she wants to do is fuck around and play the drums and make it to graduation. Enter Alicent Hightower, the prissy younger sister of her bandmate, Gwayne, who shares a class with her. She's far too mean, reminds Rhaenyra of every girl that would have bullied her in high school, has a douchey boyfriend, and listens to terrible pop music and nothing else. Couldn't be more opposite of Rhaenyra if she tried. However, when the two of them exchange notes and homework for their shared class, both of them discover that maybe they were wrong about each other. This, of course, is terrible news for everyone involved.

He purchases an old mansion in the wealthiest part of of Piltover in hopes of raising his ward to give her a better life than he had, including looking for a wife to blend in with his new surroundings, a masquerade game of lies.
He never anticipates you, his new governess, hired by Sevika for his young ward, Jinx.
A young woman in house that has more questions than answers. A strange and hidden creature lurks in the attic. A man, that should be fighting for Zaun as he once did, is now mingling with his sworn enemies and this close to buying a seat on the Council. A man, who is an enigma, raising a girl who isn't his and you finding him more and more intoxicating as you fall into his world of shady politics.

Summary
A lifetime has passed since Alicent last saw Rhaenyra Targaryen. She has made good use of her time since and built her own peace, claiming a husband who takes his vows to the letter, a son who has replicated her every feature down to her wounds and flaws, and her own private practice as a therapist for King's Landing's elite.
Rhaenyra has done the same - or found her version of it, at least, after she took over the Dragonstone firm, dated old friends and met new lovers, one of them the woman she'll someday marry, and (half-)quit to embrace her family's historical mark on the art industry, set to release her first film in the coming months.
Everything takes a turn when, after seventeen years, Rhaenyra comes back to King's Landing and signs up to be Alicent's newest client, reviving a fire that now burns with terrible anger, irresistible manipulations, obsession bordering on need, and betrayals of everything they became without each other - starting with their partners and their promises to never (again) fall for each another.

Alicent is (not) Rhaenyra's therapist and they do (not) develop a co-dependent, childhood-inherited, shamelessly adulterous and sexually spiteful relationship.
