Eddie took a deep breath and did the sign of the cross over himself, closing his eyes as he prepared to speak. He cleared his throat.

“Go ahead.”
Eddie paused.

There was a moment of silence, then: “Well, that’s not a sin.”
“No, but I’m pretty sure lusting after my taken best friend is.”
