She wasn’t thinking about it, she was just running, moving her body in a direction that felt imperative for the thing she was seeking. Her other thoughts melted softly like snow, and she felt herself peeling back, or pulling down, as something (someone) else superimposed.

Summary
Tai knew she was queer before she met Van, but this feeling was new, and she held it close to her chest. Maybe, at times, too close for Van to fully realize, but Tai enjoyed that part too, slowly meting out her intention in the slight, deliberate gestures, waiting for Van to just do something about it, to crystallize it all into something they could grasp onto. If it did happen, Tai would figure the rest out later. She could figure anything out.
