In the winter Matt gets a tattoo of Jay's signature on his upper arm. “Cool, right?” He says, rolling his sleeve up. Jared zooms in on the tattoo silently. Owen looks nauseated. Matt smiles so big that he's scared his face is going to get stuck like that.

Summary
Matt is caught with a locker full of guns before he’s able to shoot anyone. He’s expelled and his family moves to the other side of the city, where he starts at a new school. He’s been banned from watching movies, creating movies and basically doing anything that would bring him joy.
He’s also not meant to contact Owen, but if he happens to find a boy in the music room that just happens to remind him of Owen, that’s probably okay. That’s probably healthy. There’s no rules against that.
