Summary
Dazai liked to think that he realized pretty early on that he liked Chuuya (he was lying to himself). But Chuuya didn't figure it out until much later. In fact, for quite a few years, he was completely uninterested. At least, that's what Dazai assumed.
AKA Chuuya and Dazai at 17 through alternating perspectives.

Dazai was in shambles. Chuuya was straddling him and successfully holding both Dazai’s wrists above his head with one hand. Dazai was ignoring the other hand that was on his throat. He wasn’t going to unpack that while Chuuya was sitting on top of him.
And of course, this wouldn’t be complete without Chuuya’s face being centimeters away from him. Dazai could feel his brain shutting off. He willed it to stop, but it was too late. His mind went blank, completely focused on Chuuya’s body against his.
Chuuya grinned smugly and stood up. He reached out a hand to help Dazai up, and for a moment Dazai just stared at him, but he eventually swatted the hand away. Chuuya laughed but looked at him strangely. Dazai just hoped this wasn’t about the fact that he was entirely dysfunctional while Chuuya looked completely unaffected.
He was so fucked.
