“Like what?” Oscar asks, as if he can’t actually believe there might be something Lando knows that he doesn’t
“Like how the track feels or the tyres or if the suspension starts to feel off?” Lando lists off. “Or we can see what some of the other cars are doing that the cameras don’t pick up. We can help make decisions that you can’t see. Because we feel them. Before your little computer does.”
“If that’s true,” Oscar starts, drawing out the words in that stupid Australian accent of his. “Then why are you always asking Will for help on the radio?”
Lando’s actually speechless for a moment.
Fuck this guy, Lando thinks, glaring at Oscar.

Lando's the reigning world champion. Oscar's his new race engineer. They do not work together well. But they have one goal. Make Lando a back-to-back World Champion.
Cue teambuilding, radio fights, Lando and Daniel fighting for the title and Oscar and Lando learning to be a team.

Summary
“Would you ever wanna be on it?” Lando asks against his better judgment. He doesn’t let just anyone on his stream. He has a feeling people would like the looks of Oscar.
“Maybe,” Oscar squeaks, taken by surprise. “Are there a lot of people watching?” he asks innocently.
Lando doesn’t want to boast how many viewers he gets per stream. “Let’s just say, if we ever go out together, sometimes I get stopped once or twice. Not all the time. Would you mind that?”
“I don’t care about that,” Oscar states simply. “Better you than me,” he mutters under his breath.
OR
The five times Lando almost discovers how his new roommate can afford their rent and the one time he puts the puzzle pieces together.

Summary
The first shaky clip was filmed from the passenger seat of a rental van. Charles complained about Baku—mhm, Oscar could relate—before turning the camera towards the driver.
“Where are we, Carlos?”
Carlos glanced over briefly, smiling despite the hour, hands on the wheel, hair a mess from travel. He looked bright-eyed and comfortable in that way Oscar knew by heart.
“The middle of Italy,” he said.
Both of them started laughing, overtired enough to find the situation funny instead of inconvenient. The caption showed under the video. Best chauffeur in town.
Yeah. Oscar bet he was.
OR: Oscar had a bad weekend in Baku, made all the worse by his situationship riding back with Charles fucking Leclerc.

“Perfect. I’m going to step out for a couple minutes, if you could go ahead and undress for me and lay back down,” Oscar replied casually, smiling over at Lando like he wasn’t genuinely about to collapse onto the floor.
He didn’t even have time to say anything before Oscar was opening the door to leave again. The room felt terribly quiet all of a sudden, bar the loud, violent thumping of Lando’s own pulse in his ears. There was absolutely no way this was real. He’d just met easily the hottest person he’d ever seen, he was already half hard at how he was being talked to throughout a stupid appointment, and the guy was about to have a goddamn finger up his ass.
Lando’s shorts were considerably tighter than they were a few minutes ago.
