“No!” he wailed, turning to face him with an almighty pout. “He’s meant to be picking me up in less than an hour and I still can’t decide on what to wear!”
Minho gave Jisung a once-over, assessing the current outfit. Stonewash jeans, a red plaid shirt and a denim jacket. All it was missing was a tan cowboy hat and fringed boots.
“Well?”
“I mean… It’s alright… If you were planning on cosplaying as a country music star.”

“Are you okay?”
In lieu of convincing his vocal cords to do literally anything useful, Jisung nodded. The motion came out a little too enthusiastic, making him briefly dizzy. He reinforced it with a thumbs up, because apparently his body had decided that was the most reassuring option available.
What the hell are you doing?
Why aren’t you speaking?
“You didn’t hit your head or something, did you?”
Jisung shook his head immediately.
There was a beat of silence, then the stranger’s eyes widened, horror dawning fast.
“Oh, shit. Are you… Can you not speak?”
Before Jisung could get his two functioning brain cells to kick into gear, he was shaking his head again.
And there it was. The worst lie he’d ever told, without even opening his mouth to speak it.

He looked semi-drowned, his hair down with the weight of the storm outside, his clothes dark and wet, a duffel bag in hand that looked like it was heavier than the weight of their past, his glasses full of droplets he had no place to dry on.“Changbin,” Seungmin whispered at the ghost in his door.
It felt like blowing out the dust of a forgotten photo album. It felt like opening an old book that you had loved when you were younger and stupid.

Seungmin spends the entire day bullying Changbin like poking, pinching, smacking, and teasing him relentlessly just to get his attention. By the time they’re alone in the makeup trailer, Changbin has had enough. Rough hands, a mirror, and a very close call with the members later, Seungmin finally gets exactly the kind of attention he’s been craving.
