    Summary

Enid paused her studies, quit her job, broke up with her boyfriend, and generally blew up her life to take a gap year backpacking around Europe. By chance, she meets Welsh grad student Wednesday Addams on a train to Munich.
    -
When Wednesday pulled back, their foreheads still pressed together, she licked her lips. Enid wanted to whimper. She wanted to fall to her knees.

    Eurovision Song Contest AU.

Of course it’s just Enid’s luck for her to be entering Eurovision the very first year the automatic qualification of the Big Five had been abolished.

As well as harbouring the most insane (since when were dark and gloomy girls her type?), and probably inappropriate, crush on a participant from the other biggest fan favourite entry.

    Damn, indeed.

Or, in which, aspiring singer-songwriter, Enid Sinclair, tries to do more than win the biggest international song contest for the glory of France when she meets other front runner entry, Los Locos Addams, from Spain.

Wednesday writes for a Los Angeles newspaper. Enid’s in a band that’s quickly gaining popularity. All Wednesday needs to do is interview that band, write up an article, and be on her way.

Except, for some reason, they keep talking even after the interview.

(aka wednesday and enid fall for one another through a series of texts, emails, and social media posts while enid’s on tour)

wednesday pressed it closer, nearly enough for it to pierce through skin and spill a line of blood down to stain the collar of enid’s pretty dress. “you are in no position to ask questions of me.”

“you wouldn’t dare do it,” enid said. “what will you do when i go back to my family, bleeding, and tell them how wednesday addams almost cut my throat open?”

wednesday retained her unimpressed expression. “if you think i care the least bit about that, you are sorely mistaken.”
