“7 December 2025. The Grand Prix day.” He whispered on autopilot. The last piece of reality he clung to tightly.
The doctor hummed. Her eyes were stern, honest. Even before she spoke, Max knew whatever she was going to say was going to be unfiltered truth.
“The date is August 14, 2027, Max.”
