Summary
“That was crazy! That was so cool!” Yuji grabs Okkotsu’s shirt, levering himself to his knees so they’re both gripping each other, knelt in the river the rain’s made of the road. The train rattles and screams overhead and over the noise, he shouts: “We fought a ghost, Okkotsu! We’re like… Ghostbusters!”
“What?!”
“We just beat up a ghost! That’s so cool!”
“No! What?! That—that’s not remotely what happened!” Okkotsu is so outraged he seems to have forgotten to be scared about his personal poltergeist eating a local ghost and almost killing his underclassman. The final car of the freight train finishes tearing past and into the rain and comparative silence, Okkotsu shouts, “You don’t get it, Itadori! I’m going to get you killed!”
Yuji blinks.
“No, you’re not.” He points at himself. “I’m too tough? Remember?”
AKA: The new generation of jujutsu monsters grew up feral and fighting curses together in Sendai. I'm sure this will have no major ramifications for the world as a whole.

Summary
They say you choose your friends. Only, Shoko didn’t choose them, she acquired them, like a pair of stuffed animals you might win at a cheap carnival.
Fate is unpredictable. She would have never guessed that as they grew into adults, one would become the leader of a genocidal cult and the other would be a sorcerer so powerful that even evil hid from his celestial gaze.
Of the two, Shoko does in fact, have a favorite. It’s probably controversial.

Summary
"Why did he reach out to you instead of me?”
Shoko feels Gojo’s question on her skin first, the heat of his words. Something softer than anger but still filled with hurt. She starts to inch away but Gojo catches her by the shoulder, keeping her in place, their bodies lying parallel on her bed with scarce space between them. Sweat sticks his palm to her skin. She can feel his heartbeat in her bones, rapid and alcohol-addled.
“I don’t know,” she says. Gojo’s grip on her shoulder tightens for one moment then loosens, his hand falling to the mattress. She hears him turning away from her, a door slamming shut.
“I think you do,” is all he says before reaching out to turn off the light, plunging both of them into the dark.
Or: After Geto defects, Shoko and Gojo reckon with what he’s done to them and what they are to each other.

Summary
The baby had been an accident, though looking back, Shoko felt that gave her and Suguru too much credit. She took birth control with a sloppiness that was almost uncharacteristically negligent. Maybe the remnants of her self-destructive streak now that she no longer wanted to die. But nothing had ever happened over the ten years that her and Suguru had been consistently fucking and they both were lured into a false sense of security.
When the pregnancy test announced its “positive result” in the 7-11 bathroom, Shoko laughed and tossed the pack of cigarettes she just bought into the trash.
It had surprised her how happy Suguru had been at first. Almost like she’d given him the answer to a question that he hadn’t even thought of asking yet. His joy convinced her that this was a good idea.
That they were a good idea.
