    The two of them work for a tiny, independent Las Vegas magazine called The Courier. It’s disorganized as hell and sometimes feels like a whacked-out daycare, but the writing is honest and incisive, work is steady, and the pay’s enough to get by on.

    By some stupid turn of events, Arcade and the incredibly uncommunicative photographer are driving north under the blinding hot Mojave sun on an assignment that’s a good three hours away from central air and the office mini fridge.

    Summary

    Arcade Gannon regrets too much. Courier Six regrets too little. They're a match made in hell. That works out fine, considering they want to take down a self-proclaimed god with the help of one miserable sniper. That works out fine, until it doesn't.
