Marvin sat on the stone steps of his house in Park Slope. He was anxiously smoking a cigarette while bobbing his leg up and down. He didn’t really know why he was acting so neurotic today. It probably had something to do with the migraine pounding behind his eyes. He should probably take another pill, but Trina would kill him if he set foot in her precious home with a cigarette in his hands. So he stayed sitting in the steps, waiting for something to make his life less painfully monotonous.
