Even if being seen means becoming something you can’t take back. There’s just something about loneliness that drives people to do the most impossible things.

Stebbins is a vigilante serial killer nicknamed "The Purifier" who only kills those he feels deserve it. He promises his victims freedom in exchange for them confessing their deepest, darkest truth on camera. Of course, he never follows through with letting them go, instead sending the footage to loved ones & the media as a way of shining a light on the fact injustice takes many forms, including that of our neighbors. Gary Barkovitch is a lonely college student with a shitty roommate, no ambition, and an internet addiction. The only place he finds meaning is in his Tumblr blog he's dedicated to his hero, The Purifier.
