Warich sighed. Not because he didn’t know the answer, nor because he was ashamed — he just couldn’t figure out which option felt safer, or which one he actually wanted.
His eyes dropped to the floor as he thought, as if deciding whether to lie or not.
“I don’t know,” he finally said. “I used to sleep with people here and there before Yotha, and I wasn’t happy. Then I had a boyfriend, and it was even worse. Now I have no one to sleep with and no one to date…”
Warich took another sip of his drink, the burn sliding down his throat, but he didn’t care.
“And I’m still unhappy,” he said.
“Do you have Grindr?” Nop asked.
What the hell?
Warich thought he was looking for something in particular — maybe sex, maybe feelings, maybe distraction. He expected something that would make him feel less stuck in his own head. Klao was not what he expected.
