Summary
Peter was alone, mid-way through an existential crisis after the Erasure™ and was dreading the upcoming month of May.
Jason was sick of people telling him how he felt. ‘You don’t need us anymore,’ Artemis had told him, as if saying it would make it true. As if Jason needed someone to justify keeping them around. But three weeks back in Gotham and all Jason felt was fucking bored and lonely.
It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.
Finally, something interesting to deal with.
Cue some wild family misunderstandings, criminal conspiracies and cults.
Because there’s always a goddamn cult.

Ponyboy thinks it’s a little gross, and it’s also why he’s hotter in the head than when that girl Lori Miller insisted on being his double for the night at Shanes’ party. She dug hard, and she was mighty pretty, the kind that’d be hard to draw, but never did she wheedle a reaction like this out of him.
She also never had him bent over a dingy mattress like Curly does right now.
Ponyboy is so, unbelievably done for. A movement of Curlys’ hips has Ponyboy gripping the thin, lousy sheets. Done for, and queer. Which could be the same difference here, so it doesn’t matter at all.
