Summary

Between sarcastic banter, unresolved trauma, crisis aplenty, and an alarming number of broken household items, the two stumble into feelings neither of them planned on having. Unfortunately for Billy, El is very patient. And unfortunately for El, Billy is very stubborn.

Post-canon slow burn set between 1990-1991 that sticks mostly to canon history with only a few minor changes. El lives. Billy also lived which slightly changed some of the outward ripple effects.
Everybody keeps recoiling at this ship so I’ve challenged myself to redeem him and make this relationship develop in a way that works naturally without being weird. You'll see. Tons of cute moments. Tons of funny moments. Give it a shot.

Summary
After Zuko fails to capture Aang in the Spirit Oasis, he takes the next best thing: Katara. He plans to use her as bait to lure the Avatar, but a raging blizzard forces them to take shelter in an ice cave. They’re alone, freezing, and cut off from the rest of the world.
Polar blizzards can last for days, and survival leaves Katara no room for pride, or distance. Sharing warmth is unavoidable, but what she doesn’t expect is how much she comes to crave it. Katara knows she shouldn’t want this, but that doesn’t stop her. And with every passing night, it becomes harder to pretend she doesn’t ache for him.
