Summary
While running in the rain towards a shelter in the woods, Lumine and Xiao have a chance encounter that will change both of their lives forever - for the better. This fic will be a (VERY) slow burn because I really like to get into detail + explore the characters! Hopefully I can update at least a few times a week, but maybe less when school starts - I think I'd like to make it decently long. There probably won't be any spicy scenes in this one because I'm not comfortable with writing them, so please please don't ask. Anyways, if this sounds interesting to you and you also love this ship, buckle up because it's going to be a bumpy ride!

The blond-haired boy flopped down on his bed.
Why was he feeling this way? He had everything he wanted. Everyone liked him, always wanted to hang out with him and talk to him. He had multiple people chasing him, and it wouldn’t be hard to find someone he liked - as more than a friend.
But he felt so empty.
Then again, had he ever felt anything other than this? He couldn’t remember. It was like he was in a bubble that was keeping him from getting closer to others.
He lay down and closed his eyes. Thought about everyone smiling at him, walking up to talk to him. Him responding with a smile that wasn’t happy, because everything was perfectly fine.
Right?
