She flipped the invitation over and held it up so he could see the photo on the front.
“That’s your niece?”
He nodded, still confused. There was large font superimposed over the picture: Please join us for the wedding of Jennifer and Chris!
“Well…” she pointed to the man in the smart suit next to her. “That is my ex boyfriend.”
For the second time in a day, his eyebrows shot almost all the way up his forehead.
“... No shit.”
