Summary
Haru transmigrates/gets isekai'd into a shoujo novel in his sleep and becomes a Baron's son whose role in the novel is to be a canon fodder who dies at the beginning. The death heralds the introduction of the novel's male lead, the Kingdom's Crown Prince and hailed as the "Detective Prince", Kambe Daisuke.
“Please, we were having such a good conversation, weren’t we? Won’t you stay unless we properly finish it instead of leaving me hanging once more?” The grip around his wrist imperceptibly tightens in warning and Haru licks his lips and thinks of another plan that doesn’t include dislocating his arm just so he could get away.
“You sound like a jilted lover.” Haru says and his plan forms into one that ends up with him screaming insults at the top of his lungs to the prince. He trashes it immediately.
“I feel like a jilted lover.”

Once upon a time, a naïve young Kaveh wrote a declaration of his feelings on the back of the card game he and his crush were creating. Many years, fights, and a coup later, he learns that not only is their card game internationally famous, but those card backs with his confession are still out there and for some nefarious reason someone is buying or stealing all of them. He can’t let his identity as the game’s creator (or his confession!) be discovered!
