Liam inhaled deeply, trying to pinpoint what made this wolf feel so familiar. Beneath the usual foresty smell, there was something distinct—pine, sharp mint, and a faintly metallic undertone that made Liam’s stomach drop.
His voice lowered, shaky despite himself. “…Theo?”
The wolf blinked slowly, its gaze bored now, as though unimpressed with how long it took Liam to figure it out.
“What the hell are you doing on my doorstep?” Liam hissed, immediately glancing toward the staircase. Thankfully, his parents were upstairs, because this wasn’t exactly an easy situation to explain.

“It’s… it’s the spell.” Theo finally connected the dots, now the witch’s words made some sense. The scent was the same. “You aren't yourself, you have to snap out of it.” He started and held his wrist gently, yanking it off.
He felt disappointment fill his gut at the fact he's just under a spell and none of this is real… but experiencing it nonetheless is almost like a long-awaited reality granted. The overly sweet scent of the love spell was irritating him, used like a pull to keep him hooked.
“Spell? If it is, I hope it never wears off, Theo.” He whispered sweetly, smiling at him. Liam stalked closer and gently caressed Theo’s arms, sparking goose-bumps all over him with just a grazing touch. Theo was pathetically in love with Liam and this didn't help at all.
Whatever she cursed Liam with, it wasn't good. It was never good. And Theo’s already planning sweet vengeance for it.

“You are…” Liam tried to say.
But all he saw were green eyes and messy hair and soft looks and kind words and if Liam thought he couldn’t defend himself before, now he didn’t even want to.
“I am…?” Theo then asked, apparently unaware of how quickly his mind was moving.
“You are…”
Beautiful.
But he couldn’t tell him right? It would have been strange.
Would it have been?
“A liar?” Theo suggested at that point "a manipulator? A bloodsucker?” he then hypothesized, a little amused, “your words, not mine”
Something inside Liam snapped violently because Theo was there and Liam didn’t care anymore.
"Probably" he replied then, his heart pounding "I don't really care right now"
A second later he was kissing him.
