Seven chapters of the courier and Boone teaming up, becoming friends, realizing they have feelings for each other and killing as many Legion as possible along the way, because snipers work best in pairs, right?

"You know, it’s perfectly normal to feel apprehensive about check ups and such. They even have a name for it.”
“They do?”
Dr. Harvey nodded emphatically.
“Mhm. White coat syndrome. And it even happens to those who work in medicine, isn’t that funny?”
He was being so patient and understanding you almost felt like crying but you held it together.
Harvey sat up straighter, and his knee was almost touching yours now as he wheeled a bit closer to the counter to reach for his clipboard again.
“So as long as you feel ok, aren’t having any chest pain or any concerns of your own, we won’t worry about that today” he concluded with that deeply reassuring, eye crinkling smile.
You neglected to tell him part of the reason for your anxiety was the huge freaking crush you had on him but that was none of his business. -

It had been a slow and quiet few days, little else on the roads aside from them, and little conversation aside from the almost clinically detached discussions about where to stop and sleep, or eat, or rest. It had been the longest amount of time Boone had spent alone — aside from the ever-present robot hovering and chirping happily alongside them — with the Courier.
