Failing to quell the irritations building up over the past hectic days, the officially awoken mechanic took it out on a trash bin. The favorite target didn't make as much racket as other hardware in his shop would, and didn't hurt anybody. Maybe hurt himself, but nobody.
Kaveh's pretty face wrinkled in pain.
The battered bin helplessly leans on the table leg, revealing an unsealed envelope crumpled with passion. Their back-and-forth correspondence heavily blanketed a debate that belonged more to unseemly bar encounters than a business negotiation, had professional pleasantries been omitted. Letters signed "Alhaitham" probed endlessly, and this nature of his cemented Kaveh’s confidence in the sender's identity.
"Do you think I'm stupid? Stop trying to get into my head."
