Summary
Alastor and Vox have made a deal. It's easy enough: Vox does whatever Alastor wants, whenever he wants it. In exchange, all Alastor has to do is have sex with his friend once a year.
This was supposed to be easy. How hard can it be to have sex just once a year?
But perhaps Alastor bit off a lot more than he could chew.This is a one-shot that takes place right after part 12 of @elsa-fogen's AU comic "Incompatible Frequencies". Although in a way it can be read as a stand-alone, some parts won't make a lot of sense out of context.

Alastor stared death in the face. As long as you never get the satisfaction of seeing me break, I don’t care what happens, he thought.
But he felt raw and broken.
It was poetic that, in the end, the two rivals had succeeded in dragging each other to the brink of insanity.
If only Alastor could find the humor in that. If only he could feel anything at all.
Or, Alastor’s plan wasn’t meant to be pleasant. Unfortunately, he had misunderstood Vox’s intentions all those years ago and was thoroughly unprepared to deal with the direction his imprisonment took him. “Tell me you want me,” he says, voice low and rough from sleep. The room is swathed in dark shadows, the only light that of the glow of the ever-present neon signs outside the tower seeping in through the half open curtains.
“I want you,” Alastor says immediately, voice so bland and lifeless Vox slips his hand around to the back of Alastor’s neck to jerk sharply on his hair, head snapping back.
“Say it,” he bites out, “like you mean it.”
Vox finally has Alastor right where he's always wanted him, in any way he's ever imagined.
So why is it still not enough?
