Summary
In July, Will Smith is traded to Calgary.
He sits across from his coach and nods in the right places and says the right things, and the whole time the floor is quietly dropping out from underneath him. Prior to this, he had a plan. San Jose. The rebuild. A future he'd let himself believe in without ever saying out loud who was at the center of it.
He texts Mack that night. He waits two hours. Yeah. That sucks. But you'll be good up there.
Nine words. From the person who has been the fixed point of his life for years now. And then silence, the kind that doesn't stop, that stretches through August and September and October while Will settles into a furnished Calgary apartment with a hollow feeling he's gotten very good at carrying. He stops checking for Mack's name on his phone sometime in August.
The Sharks come to Calgary for a game on a Tuesday in November. Will has not been thinking about it for six weeks. It's just a game. He's fine.
Then he gets hurt, and he opens his eyes, and Mack is already there.

Summary
After the Battle at Starcourt Mall Joyce and Hopper married, and the Byers-Hopper family move to Lenora Hills California on the US Government's dime.
Four years later the party is finally reuniting on a Summer trip to California and everyone is excited... except for Will.
Will feels a bit abandoned and forgotten by many of his friends- Dustin and Lucas hardly talk to him and only really talk about Hawkins when they do, and Mike stopped responding after 3 months into their move. Max, Robin and Steve are the only ones who have any sort of idea what is going on in his life now.
Feeling the absence of his childhood friends Will has moved on with his new friends in Lenora, discovering himself and becoming a person he was too afraid to let loose before.
But what will that leave in store with his childhood friends back in the picture? Is there anything that can even be done to restore some broken friendships? And what happens when new and old feelings come back to light?

"House rules, Mack. You guys have to sleep separately," Aiden announces.
“That’s so dumb!” Mack says shrilly. “We’re not even gonna do anything!”
Aiden spreads his arms in frustration. “It doesn’t matter, Mack! If I don’t get to share with my girlfriend, you don’t get to share with your boyfriend.”
“God, it’s not like he’s gonna rail me in my childhood bedroom with everyone in the house!” Mack whines loudly.
Great. Now Will is stuck at the Celebrinis' for the next two weeks---sleeping under their roof, eating their food, and taking advantage of their overall generosity--all while Rick and Robyn enjoy their newfound knowledge that he tops their son.

Summary
As soon as his agent picks up, Macklin spills the tea while it’s still piping hot.
“Is there anything in my contract about… physical relationships with staff or, like, people in the organisation?” Macklin blurts out.
There is a very pregnant pause. “People in the organisation?” His agent repeats slowly. “What did you do, Mack?”
“Nothing,” Mack says, too quickly to sound convincing. “Just… hypothetically.”

Or, Macklin spends the hottest night of his life with a pretty boy whose blond curls are nothing short of gorgeous. The next morning, he finds out that he just slept with the son of the man who owns the San Jose Sharks. He does not handle it well.
