Summary
In an age where magic and dragons are commonplace, chaos and conflict often arise. To combat this primal form of terror and keep madness from once again spreading across the lands, every region has its own aerial corps - established barracks and stable grounds which house dragons deemed tame enough to be battle mounts along with their riders. These lodgings vary greatly from culture-to-culture, but each residing combatant (both mortal and draconic) is trained to be uniquely suited for life on the front line, all waiting for a chance to test their mettle in open combat.
This particular story follows an attractive female marauder, already well-seasoned on the battlefield, as she navigates life with a new companion following the tragic death of her prior mount. As fate would have it, she catches the eye of a noteworthy Bloodchaser drake known as "Enoch" - a dragon known for his ruthless tactics and hunting prowess.They say the winds of change blow strong and sometimes, when you least expect, it leads to places one might have never imagined. For you, it was learning exactly how your new drake regarded you - but before we get to that, let's start from the beginning first. . .

Summary
To widen the expanse of research into anomaly genetics and determine exactly how the unusual creatures dubbed "anomalies" procreated, a new type of experiment was undertaken - this one strictly classified, and involving human test subjects. In an attempt to try and produce a new hybrid anomaly potentially capable of possessing human intelligence, Experiment Zero was created.
Whereas the overall project had started off simple enough, it quickly delved into much darker waters when the first human participants were brought in. The very nature of the tests drew heavy scrutiny, and each person involved (aside from the subjects themselves) were thoroughly briefed on exactly what was to be expected of them as well as given one chance to walk away before the first round of tests began. A handful of staff dropped out early, not wishing to dirty their hands with something closely bordering the inhumane, but most stayed, willing to see the results of such an unconventional scientific outreach which would doubtless be deemed unacceptable by normal standards.
