Starved for social contact and losing your mind slowly, you soon find yourself adapting to your new situation, and to your captor as well. Humans are resilient creatures, after all.

Nolan Grayson does not want his son's first interaction with True Viltrumite Culture to be when he wipes all governments off the Globe - so instead, he calls his mother - the mighty Thula Greis of Clan Uun, Krolulvek-Kraanvek (the World Breaker) and asks for her advice. The plan? Take Mark on a more kosher conquest of an Evil Empire, so he feels more ingratiated to the Viltrumites.
Thula sees an opportunity to ensure her line doesn't end, and calls her protege (and Nolan's Niece) to come help - the Djanchi Anissa Vokar of Clan Tazareth

This takes place during/after the S4 final episodes, and follows the story of the comics from there onward.«We will take Earth. We will live amongst the people of the Earth without them even knowing we’re there. Breed with them, generate as many children as you can. Those humans are compatible with us, and we will use them to repopulate our ranks. With time we will grow in numbers and bring the Empire back to its former glory, making Earth our new Viltrum. This is my order.»
The fic takes place after The Viltrumite War arc, diverging from canon in one simple way: the Grand Regent himself decided to find a suitable mate.
