Do you want to talk back some more?” He sneers, as you sit with your mouth agape like an idiot.“S-sorry.” Is all you can manage to gasp out, as the surprise starts to subside along with the stinging pain. It wasn’t a particularly strong shock. Just enough to hurt, to startle you into anticipating worse. A reminder to know your place.
You attempt to scramble back up, but one of your feet has now gotten tangled and refuses to budge. No amount of pulling seems to help, the only reward for your efforts is AM’s harsh laughter at your repeated failures.Yet another AM fic, because who doesn't secretly want to be owned by the omnipotent computer?

Did you mistake my touch for affection?!” He spits the last word out, as though merely mentioning it makes him ill. “Did you mistake my words for some, some twisted form of interest, even love?!” He wheezes, and you cringe at yourself, stinging eyes threatening to tear up again.
“Hehehe… completely, utterly pathetic. You’re nothing but a depraved little slut.”
You let out a gasp before you can stop it, as you feel his words land somewhere low in your stomach. Shame, sweet shame.

“Give me a reason to spare you,” Scaramouche scoffs, the sound low and dangerous. The pressure on her neck intensifies, his fingers digging deep enough to break through skin and draw blood.
Her chest burns with the need for air. Although, at this point everything inside of her feels hot. It aches everywhere, everywhere, and everywhere – and she tries not to let any emotion show as she forces her lips shut.
But then he shifts just a little closer to her, and Lumine swears the moan that escapes her is downright sinful. His reaction is slow; one eyebrow raised slightly in muted surprise before a look recognition crosses his face. Something flickers in his eyes then, followed by a sneer, and a part of her dies a little.

Another screen on the console flickered to life, then another, and another, all of them blurred with rapidly scrolling metrics she didn’t understand. The room was awash in neon for their sudden awakening.
None of this was inherently dangerous, but it was alarming, to say the least. “Uh,” she managed to say. “Is this a good thing?”
Suddenly, the text tapered off the screens, as though the console had come to the end of whatever bootup sequence it had just run.

A solo space explorer, finds the discovery of a lifetime: an alien people-carrier dead in space, untouched by other looters. But after granting herself captain's access, the entire wreck suddenly comes to life. As it turns out, this spaceship has an extra-special relationship with its captain - and now it has one again, it's not so willing to let her go.
AKA, this is a romance between a space explorer and a sentient spaceship, with a lot of smut along the way.
