Summary
Ace was now an old man, the end of his life was near, but he had no plans on letting it end too fast. He worked hard for his life, for its outcome, it was time to enjoy what his old bones allowed. All of which included a warm bed, a pile of furs, medicinal herbs drying in the corner and scenting the hut, the dishes washing themselves, runes lighting up their hut, and that nice summer breeze flowing through the window. All that was missing was that special person to spend it with, the one who would shoo him off the warm bed when he lazed around too much, the one who aired out the pile of furs, pick the herbs, figured out the runes on the dishes, lights and made sure the window would allow the wind in without the swarm of bugs.
Ace had lost Smoker, his strong pillar, and the ability to feel his arms around him a long long time ago. He fought tooth and nail to try and get him back. Now thirty years after his journey started he finally got a chance to go back home and retell what happened. Tell the village what happened in all those thirty years, update those who had been there for them, and let them get closure of what happened.
At least his old bones shouldn’t protest much if he told a grim story, his grim story.

As boring as most of it is, Lucci's inept boss decided to put their life on the line and nearly ruin the beginnings of a three year endeavor. In the midst of fixing his mistake they meet a small boy with nothing to lose and much to gain when he decides to follow the two adults.

For those who have read 'Old Fashioned' this takes place in between the three years Sabo left, and it's how they meet Alvize and a few interactions between them. It's not entirely necessary to read, but there will be short mentions here and there of what happened in Old Fashioned.

The third and final installment of the ‘Old Fashioned’ ‘Series’. For those of you who have read it, this fits after Luffy moves in with Robin and Franky. For those who haven't read it, while it's not necessary to read Old Fashioned, the setting may be confusing without it. If you want the minimum chapters needed to understand it takes place after Chapters 1-16 of Old Fashioned. Also, it is not necessary to read Lotus Martini, it is entirely separate and does not reference anything in Lotus martini.

Officer Smoker has to work a month in a new town, Baterilla, where he meets a cute bartender and his insanely crazy family. He just has survive being single for a month, then he can go back home to his dog, and normal life. He doesn't have to deal with the randomly hostile middle brother with his ventriloquist husband nor did he have to deal with the innocently dumb kid brother. But staying single and keeping a normal life was a little harder to go back to when the bartender gave him that stupidly cute smile and purred his name with that accent that kept him coming back for more.
Just one month
Just one month was quickly becoming not long enough.

From the second Soap can hear him, he’s shouting up a storm. There are four men on him, and twice as many guns besides: he fights like hell the whole way down the hall. As he’s shoved onto his knees, he sinks his fangs into the thigh of his nearest captor. He gets himself pistol-whipped for his effort, and still looks like he wants to try it again.
Soap likes the big bastard intensely and immediately.
Soap and Ghost are imprisoned by the Al-Qatala, and things only get worse from there.
