Luffy, the one destined for this position, is well on his way until he discovers that his swordsman is unexpectedly pregnant by his own hand. (and dick lol) A child would only hold the crow down, it would prevent them from completing their dreams. They're young and stupid, neither pirate needs a child to mess things up.
But what if a purpose is what they want? What if it doesn't ruin everything?

Summary
Zoro loves people in the tough love mindset, and though scared of being hurt again, he and luffy are obsessed with each other. Luffy knows that Zoro would never betray him, they love each other too much, affirming their bond despite his swordsman's rough nature.
However, a small mishap leads Zoro to panic, fearing he hurt Luffy, and awaiting punishment. Despite his distress, Luffy falsely reassures him through both men's clashing emotions and confused fear.
Putting two injured animals together results in bloodshed when they both show fear differently.
