Summary
Sasha is the one who carries Marcy out of the battlefield, once they release them from the Core. He tries not to jostle them too much, but still need to run. As soon as Marcy's with the other two on Joe Sparrow's back, they open their eyes just a bit.
Sasha is all they see, his face completely covered in dirt and scratches. Marcy wants to raise their hand to touch their face, but it doesn't work. Their body is just too heavy to work.
"... Sash?"
Sasha looks down immediately, holding Marcy tighter when he sees their open eyes. Marcy's face twists and they let out a quiet whimper, being let down by Sasha, who laid their body over his lap and Anne's.
Anne brushes Marcy's hair away from their eyes, and they smile upon seeing her. "You're here too..."
When Anne answers that she is, Marcy's already asleep.____________________
This is an AU where they saved Marcy before the invasion of Earth. I will be primarily focusing on the trio's dynamic to avoid fight scenes, but this all happens after Andrias' defeat and through the aftermath of the war. Should be fun!

Her short lived dreams of domestic bliss are torn apart when they discover that their next door neighbors are Boscha and Skara, who bullied Willow throughout High School. Luz puts her emotions aside to protect her friend from the school bully who seems hell bent on making their life harder, but finds it more and more difficult to hide everything she felt when her relentless curiosity got the mysterious green haired girl who visits Boscha every now and then to warm up to her. The Azura Bookclub's meetings had been turning slowly into dates. After all, with Amity's busy schedule and Luz's unending shenanigans, it was nice to have an excuse to spend time together once week, all alone. If Luz began to leave sweet messages for Amity within the Blight's sanctuary that was a bonus - so was finding Amity's study sheets for Tamagotchi-texting. But ever since the promise she was forced to make, Luz couldn't help but overthink. Was it even worth it to think about a palisman, if she could never become a witch? How could she tell Eda and her new found family? Did she really have to lose so much regardless? Enjoying her girlfriend's presence felt like preparing for a goodbye she never wanted to say.
At that week's Azura Bookclub, Luz took a deep breath (one of several) and asked Amity to read a story she'd written and give her feedback. She said she could wait, when the opposite was true. -

“Sooo… Did you and Anne hang out much after I moved?” Marcy asks, and Sasha has the decency to pretend like she doesn’t know that the question has been burning a hole through Marcy’s mind ever since she walked out of the airport terminal. Or, tripped her way out.
Did Sasha and Anne hang out much after Marcy moved? This question, at least, Sasha had prepped herself for. She knew it was inevitably coming. Yet even though she was expecting it, it somehow still takes her just a little by surprise. Maybe that’s because she’s inexplicably having a hard time keeping her guard up around Marcy.
Sasha replies, “At first, yeah, but we kind of fell into different friend groups in high school. We still talked, but only every once in a while.”
It’s that simple, and it isn’t.

Anne did not mean to say it like that. Not that she doesn't want to kiss the two of them! She definitely wants to do that a lot, actually. However, the sentence came out all wrong. It’s embarrassing really, how her voice strained, jumbling out words and excuses that she herself did not think through at all. It was supposed to be perfect, y’know? All smooth and charismatic, but it ended up sounding so impulsive.

Butterflies creep up her throat and her heart leaps in her chest, even though they do this every morning. If nothing else, this is easy. This makes her feel like maybe it’s okay to just be a kid again, even if it means sitting restlessly through boring lectures. Even if it means she spends more of the class period calculating the distance between their hands and how to close it than she does paying attention to the questions on the board, even if it means he stutters through a question about today’s date when she thinks he should just ask her on one instead.
