Summary
Dennis should've known better. He had his heart set on doing his residency at the Pitt, but life had taught him he was better off left wanting and never actually getting what he'd wanted. It really didn't surprise him when he started coughing purple hyacinths petals because of his stupid crush on the Senior Attending Physician at PTMC, who was clearly suffering from PTSD and probably only used romance as a weird coping mechanism.

Summary
Robby is leaving for his sabbatical when he is sideswiped on his motorcycle, landing him in The Pitt ICU in a coma. Dennis, overcome with feelings he'd pushed aside for a year, barely leaves his side, talking to him, hoping he can hear him.
Something must get through the brain fog. Because while Robby wakes up with severe memory loss, there are three things he knows for sure:
• He and Jack are chief residents at The Pitt
• Dana will be a great charge nurse one day
• Dennis is his... boyfriend? Partner?The only three friends that Robby can remember, having already sworn to work together to keep Robby's depression at bay until he turns the corner in his recovery, make a stupid, stupid decision.

“MacGyver move. Go for it.” Robby approved of Al-Hashimi’s instruction. He left as quickly as he’d stopped by, leaving the new attending to continue overseeing the residents.
“Does a Doctor MacGyver work here?” Dennis asked curiously.
Mel looked just as lost. “I don’t know.”Or, Dennis hasn’t seen a lot of movies, so he doesn’t always understand Robby’s references. They work on that together.
