“Hey baby,” Ava calls out and Bea looks up from her laptop, glasses low on her nose, and smiles. “Oof,” Ava clutches at her chest. “You are…” she walks around the desk and watches Bea look up at her, knowing better than to adjust her own glasses. “So hot,” Ava pushes her glasses up her nose and then leans down and kisses between her eyes. “When you do busywork.”
Beatrice grins into Ava’s adoration. “So all the time then?”
“All the fucking time, Bea.” Ava pulls her glasses off then and leans in to kiss her on the lips. This time, she lets herself sink into it because it’s been a long fucking morning already and now she has to go a banquet and god Bea tastes like caramel and strong coffee.
