Request: "An alternate Reunion at Dawn, AKA the Reunion at Dawn I wanted Claude and Byleth to have! It's been five years since they've seen each other. Byleth can't believe how much Claude has changed, but what hasn't changed is her feelings for him. Maybe she feels conflicted because she still sees herself as his professor. Claude can't believe that Byleth hasn't changed at all. Maybe he's conflicted too because he had feelings for her when he was a student, and seeing her again stirs all of that up."
Byleth awakens from out of time and discovers that the student who helped her live and feel had not only grown into a man, but his tactical, thorny, and disturbingly probing nature had matured along with him - and she's terribly aware of it. The ever-growing mystery mountain of who the other is could either bring them together...or tear them apart.

An evening dedicated to de-stressing from their roles turns into something sweeter and - especially for the secret-happy Claude, blissfully safe - for the two lovers, both still new to the realm of romance.

"As Edelgard works to reorganize the army after merging with Alliance troops, she receives an urgent message from Duke Goneril, whose forces guard Fodlan's Locket..."
The call was answered with gusto. While it seemed that some kind of dreadful invasion from a mighty Eastern nation would divert the Black Eagle Strike Force's war efforts, it was little more than an elaborate sport, an inside game played between warriors of one nation yet known to Fodlan, and another nation that was slowly submitting to the Adrestian Empire's grip. The game is played and won by the Force, and a far-off dream of a treaty with a nation not under the Goddess' sway is drafted in the back of Edelgard's mind.
In time, that treaty would become a pipe dream, and the game the Almyrans played would become its very last one.
