Summary
Sucrose considered herself as nothing more than an existence meant to be used but scarcely wanted. She couldn't well fathom nor imagine the idea of anyone loving her, much less as someone's beloved. With that being said, she encountered a man, not far from her own age, working at their newfound local library which she now eagerly frequented and grew to adore. Albedo, his name was, regards his timid regular as fond as what she could possibly hope for someone like her. The fleeting glimpses; those damned smiles that edged with something she longed to know; and the agonizing proximity that she could've only dared to achieve in her dreams, was beyond what she expected when she became his friend.
Is there something more to them than companions bonded over the luxurious relief of books? Deep down, did she really yearn for more than what currently is?
(Basically an AU where Albedo is a librarian and Sucrose is his cute regular customer)

As she struggles to pick up the pieces from her remaining memories, she stumbles right into a mentor who appears to her like a blank slate.
