On most nights, the silence persistently carried throughout Teyvat. In Mondstadt, Barbatos ensured that the winds took the people's words to each other, while in Inazuma, the Shogun assured that silence reigned eternally.
However, Liyue was quite a different story. Free from its' former Archon, Morax, the people were free from any restrictions, so they often had bright lights and countless chatter throughout the night.
On this night, the relationship of the two boys, Chongyun and Xingqiu, is brought into question- Are they really just friends, or did all their special times together change how they saw one another...?

The entire manor of the Feiyun Commerce Guild was in shambles when their youngest master, Xingqiu, went missing. However, the young master suddenly appeared a few hours later with another man. This new face to the household, Chongyun, was an esteemed guest of his. It was obvious to both the servants and the family that there were some secrets between the two, yet they didn't pry further.
Chongyun was never one to purposefully cause mischief. However, mischief knocked on his door countless less. It followed him like the plague.

Ningguang's wealth is unsurpassed in all of Liyue. She may be Liyue's Tianquan, but she has and always will be a merchant. She is wise to any trick in the trade and knows valuable when she see's it. So when the infamous pirate captain Beidou unearths a completely unblemished golden box, decorated with the finest cor lapis and filled to the brim with 100 identical beads of the finest, purest, and perfectly cut jade, Ningguang cannot resist. As soon as she laid eyes on that box she knew it was valuable, and when she saw its contents she had to have it. Unfortunately, Beidou is not among the easiest of individuals to deal with, but the Tianquan of the Qixing is nothing if not cunning, she WILL have that box. Even if she has to deal with the Uncrowned Lord of the Ocean herself.

Chongyun and Xingqiu are not yet the best exorcists in Teyvat. In fact, they're still teenagers that haven't even seen a ghost that wasn't scared of Chongyun's yang energy. However, this is all about to change when they learn of a haunted house in Qingce village, in which a series of murder-suicides have occurred once every hundred years for as long as anyone can remember.
