Summary
Hyunjin is a floral tattoo artist, who mainly does cover up tattoos and only works with his own designs, tired of constantly having to explain why he can’t cover black ink with pastel colors.
That is, until one day a client comes to their tattoo parlor and shows him the most captivating design that Hyunjin has ever seen, insisting that the person who made it is not a tattoo artist himself, but a florist. That florist, as Hyunjin learns, also has an art account on Twitter, where he posts flower stories under the name skyster.
(Alt: Hyunjin believes that mistakes don’t have to become anchors and, though they can’t be erased, they can still be fixed. Seungmin, on the other hand, is a bit of a perfectionist, who would rather post his art late than upload something that he isn’t completely satisfied with. Literally touched my soul. Beautifully written and so captivating that I'm just shaken to my core. I am absolutely in love with the depth of the emotions in this fic and all the thoughts poured into it. Couldn't get enough about seungjin talking about flower meanings and their way to express themselves. Also floral tattoos artist Hyunjin is something I needed in my life but didn't know until now.
Felt so realistic and healthy but at the same time also dreamy as a fairy tale. -

“You’re sure you’re okay with me moving in, hyung?” Felix asked, for about the fortieth time since he and Chan had sat down at the diner. It was one of the only semi-decent places to eat on campus, and apparently Chan was a frequent patron because the waitress didn’t even bat an eye when he ordered what looked like half of the menu.
“Totally,” Chan said lightly. “Three of my other kids are your age, I’m sure you’ll get along great.” He stopped for a second to inhale an entire burger in two bites, and Felix tried not to stare. He took a sip of milkshake while Chan started on a plate of spaghetti.
“They’re all kinda weird, actually,” Chan said thoughtfully. Felix’s apprehension must’ve shown on his face, because Chan quickly waved his hand. “Not in a bad way. They’re just sort of… quirky, I guess. I’m sure you’ll like them.”
“I’m sure it will be fine,” Felix agreed. “I’m generally pretty laid-back.”
“I can tell.” Chan grinned, his eyes turning into crescent moons.

Seungmin knows first hand that being head over heels in love with your best friend of seven years isn't easy, especially when basically half of the student population is in love with them too but what can one expect when it comes to someone like Hwang Hyunjin?
And when Hyunjin asks him to pretend to be his boyfriend for the year to solve both of their problems, Seungmin has no choice but to give in, thinking it couldn't be all that bad.
Maybe he shouldn't have been so quick to agree.

How was it that everyone else he was surrounded by, even the most unlikable people, were allowed the happiness of connecting with their soulmate and not him? Why was he any different?
Just when he had given up on it all, Hyunjin meets a lovable rural boy who not only filled the empty, dark splotches in his heart but opened his world to adore colour like never before.
Or, Hyunjin’s abandoned quest to find his soulmate unknowingly leads him to the one who was meant for him all along, Seungmin.
