There were a myriad of thoughts currently running through Goro Akechi's mind as he shot daggers into his bathroom sink, specifically towards what was sitting against the rim that threatened to clatter to the floor. He wasn't sure if the migraine pricking the back of his skull was due to his current predicament or his annoyance from dealing with Shido, but it may very well be both. The churning in his stomach was definitely the former, now that he knew for sure just what was going on with him. Although, he wished it wasn't true, but the two lines staring back at him couldn't lie.

Having an omega be part of Noctis’s Crownsguard had the entire Citadel raising all kinds of eyebrows, and King Regis either didn’t see the potential issue or he didn’t mind —probably the latter because at the very least, he knew who Prompto was. The issue in question didn’t arise until everyone was too busy dealing with the empire and the peace treaty to wonder why Prompto was so nauseous or when his last heat was or why his scent had gotten sweeter over the last few weeks. Prompto didn’t think to see why until the day before the trip, but by then, it was already too late.

Toya had turned his attention back to the cauldron, flipping a few more pages and muttering an incantation under his breath. Meanwhile, Akito’s eyes trailed to his slim waist, something that would normally be hidden by his coat during his outings, before trailing his eyes up to the smooth, bare nape that was unfortunately lacking any prominent marks. Akito sat up further and narrowed his gaze, ignoring the ache in the gums for he was obviously going to do something about it. Drowsiness be damned, he knew how to keep himself awake.
