During his first few weeks of freedom, Poe had been the one asleep on the floor, but locked away in the fresher where it felt the most enclosed. Something about the immense freedom of the small moon the Resistance had settled on was frightening at first. The sky in particular was terrifying. It felt like it may collapse and kill him at any moment. Everything was too wide open, too immense. He worried at all times of the day that Kylo would pop out from somewhere and take him again. The fresher was dark and enclosed and safe.
