Link is tired of dealing with Zelda and her childish behavior. The Golden Goddesses, displeased with what they've seen, agree and decide that the best way to help Hyrule is to show Link the beginning and how magic is used to help defeat Demise without the current Zelda's help.

Anyway, TLOZ has sucked me back in so I decided to replay BOTW and am reminded of how bitchy and bratty Zelda was and god I do hate her! Like gurl I know you got problems but Link ain't the cause of them! Also, nobody likes Revali outside of fanfiction because wow he is so full of himself. A package wrapped in a silver ribbon arrives for the Hero of Hyrule—an Ocarina, to be exact. The thrum of power that the Master Sword hums to has Link on edge, but he has no one he can take it to.
Except, of course, the one person who hates him most.
Princess Zelda summons the champions and brings it to the Temple of Time—where they then uncover three stones and writings of a song on the wall that the Ocarina pulses to. Zelda is urged to play the song, only for them to find themselves one hundred years in the future, in a Hyrule they do not recognize. They want answers, and the rugged Hylian who claims to be a descendant of the Hero won't give them any.
The more they dig around, the more they discover about what really happened one hundred years ago...
