Being one of the killers around here sure had little to no benefits.
chase, shoot, hook, kill. Pretty much every single trial went like that, with no room for unique experiences or fun. After countless encounters with both the killers and the survivors all of them grew familiar with each other; survivors no longer feared the killers and the killers sometimes chose to let the survivors go unharmed. Everyone was just trying to live their life and enjoy little crumbs of freedom they were given by the Entity. To put it in other words, many of the residents considered life around here to be quite dull overall.

Not THE man, and certainly not THAT man, but simply…a man. An organism allowed to feed itself as it saw fit, sleep when it grew tired, and behave as its instincts ordered it to. Nothing necessarily special, nothing chosen, and nothing predestined for whatever life his…his creators had in mind.
Unfortunately, it seems no one really agrees. Poor thing. Hard lives inevitably produce sick men, and who better to fix a sick man than a doctor?

His laugh rings out in a short, harsh breath, “You know, for someone who clearly missed me,” voice pitched low, he continues toward you, boots echoing off the tile with his heavy, steady stride, “you are being a remarkable brat”, sharp accent on the t ringing out into the room.
The atmosphere shifts. You feel the change, the way the air develops a charge to it. Fear pricks your skin once more: prey, being cornered. His gaze drags across your form appreciatively, and you remember your state of dress as you feel a sudden chill.
“Tell me, sweet thing”, he creeps closer. “ Have you missed me?”
Pride comes before the fall.
