    Xie Lian, an agent for the Xianle Security Agency, has been sent undercover to investigate the Jun Crime Family. Things are going well (sort of) until he runs into Hua Cheng, whom he formerly arrested back in his rookie days.

    Xie Lian wants nothing more than to keep his head down and do his job, but Hua Cheng seems determined to draw him out with his wicked words and sexy smirk.

    As Jun Wu's top enforcer, Hua Cheng seems to be the epitome of "mad, bad, and dangerous to know," but when the two of them are forced to work together, Xie Lian starts to realize there is much more to the Crimson Rain Sought Flower than his reputation alone.

    Before long, Xie Lian begins to fall for the one person he shouldn't and soon finds himself caught between his duty and his feelings.

    But Xie Lian is not the only one with secrets.

    Hua Cheng is on a mission of his own, and if he's not careful, he may end up destroying himself and taking Xie Lian along with him.

    “Oi! Stop right there!” shouting echoed through the streets, as a young man dressed all in black with a hood covering his head and scarf hiding his face, took off running through the back allies.

    “Nah! I think I would rather not,” the young man laughed as he jumped over a crate, knocking down a stack of boxes as he went, thus blocking the path for the guards chasing him. “Better luck next time~”

    “Bastard! You won’t get away!” One guard yelled, trying to climb over the mess blocking his path.

    “Woow~ Dedicated,” the young man whistled, giving the guard a mock salute as he stepped to the edge of the high wall separating the lower class from the elite. “I can respect that. Too bad I’m not in the mood to deal with my boss for being late. Again,”

    With that he spread his arms out and fell back with a wink at the guard reaching out to grab onto him.

    “Damnit!” the guard yelled, quickly looking over the side of the wall and seeing the other had vanished.

    (OR the thief Dazai and guard Chuuya Au no one asked for but won't leave my head so now it's everyone's problem too)
