Aizawa watched as the girl played with the shade of her bedside lamp, tapping it rhythmically and changing the color at random with each tap. It was odd to say the least. He entered the room further and stopped a few feet from the bed. He crossed his arms and observed quietly, "Kallie, what are you doing?"
Her finger paused on the lamp shade before the fabric faded back to the neutral while it had originally been, "sorry," she said quietly.
He raised an eyebrow, watching her. He'd never been particularly good at being gentle. He was glad he'd only adopted one child, "You don't have to apologize. What's with the.." He gestured vaguely, "tapping."
"I like.. colors." She said with no further explanation.

“That’s a neat trick, doll.”
A voice said beside her and she tilted her head, lips parting in a silent gasp. His skin was visibly burnt and seemingly held together by staples. Drunken curiosity took over and she reached out to touch his face.
