Summary
“We’re just getting dinner as friends,” Chloe keeps telling herself. “There’s nothing more to it.” After all, Lucifer only invited her out as a way to thank her for helping save Lux, his home. She shouldn’t overthink it. But then Ella mentions the way he looked at Chloe at Lux, hinting at so much more in his eyes, and Chloe can’t help but wonder if maybe her friend is right and this dinner is anything but innocuous. Panic sets in as she faces the reality of her own feelings, forcing her to make a decision that might forever change her relationship with Lucifer.

Summary
“What the fuck, Lucifer?” Chloe says, not even caring how hostile she sounds. She’ll give him one chance to explain himself, one, and only because he’s never really let her down before. But if his explanation isn’t a literal life and death situation, God help him. Or her.
His mouth opens then closes. Suddenly, Lucifer looks like a fish on the wet sand that Trixie always carefully pushes back into the ocean. One single chance, she thinks viciously. This puppy dog act will not sway her.
“I think I might be in love with you,” he blurts.
___Chloe Decker did not see this coming.

"Does he know you call me when he sleeps?"
Set in a post S3 AU where Lucifer leaves after Chloe returns from Rome, the gap between them too wide to close. She moves on... but can't let go.
Five times she calls him... and the one time he calls her.

Summary
A new ‘Zombie Horse Production’ (AKA the art of flogging a dead one, until it gets up and joyously runs - or, maybe, staggers a bit, dragging its way, pathetically… whichever). As always, any actual dialogue from the show, used herein, does not belong to me. Duh.
This particular dead horse was reanimated from the season two episode ‘Quid Pro Ho’. Beware, oncoming angst.
