Gavin waved a hand, making a dramatic gesture to the side, “Maybe I should get a divorce or something. Move on with life.”
Blue eyes finally looked up from his work, watching Gavin’s expressions with rapt interest, “And your assets? The home?”
“I don’t know. I’ll let him keep the house I guess. I want a smaller one anyway.”
“And me?”

Summary
They scrambled together like two cats fighting, only stopping when both stood on their feet proper and no longer ran the risk of tumbling down the precinct stairs.
“Fuck!” The stranger spit, though it sounded more like a sneeze, “The fuck man, are you blind?”
“...um, yes?” Nines lifted his cane.

Summary
Heavy cases always meant a plethora of paperwork to follow. Nines would get it completed, and check over Detective Reed's reports for errors as well. As long as he could block out the distracting noise across the room.
It was the soft little gasps that broke his focus. The little inhales that the human would make. A shuttering sound of ecstasy. He would be cut off with a soft choke, a long period of silence and shuffling. Then a deep gasping inhale that filled his lungs would follow. Panting and quivering. Nines could hear the human's heart pounding in his chest, even from this distance.----
Gavin has a long day, but with the help of his androids he forgets all of his troubles for just a bit.Series

Summary
When Nines had gone missing, it was too shocking for everyone to ignore. The android had a perfect record when it came to being on time. Even the instances he had to walk in the rain he was still in the door by 8:30 on the dot, and had Gavin’s coffee steaming on the desk by the time the detective walked in at 9.
The android did not clock in at 8:30. The terminal still off by 8:40. No coffee on the desk at 9. Not a sign of the android as hours passed bit by bit.
Something was wrong.
------

"It's not just about messing around, though. Sure it's fun as fuck to nail someone in the head with a snowball—"
"Which you have done to Connor four times in the last week."
The detective ignored the comment and continued, "—it's also calming in it's own way."
"Calming?"
"Yeah." Gavin rotated some to look at the android, "You ever just stood in the snow? Let it fall around you. All still and quiet?"
"No." the yellow glow of Nines's LED reflected back from the window and framed his face in soft light. Gavin found himself staring.
There was a quick clearing of Gavin's throat and he turned away again, staring at the apartment building, "You should one day. Helps the mind."

Summary
The RK900 model was not designed for extended periods underwater. He knew this. They were made to last for ten hours maximum. His clock, at the moment, claimed to be around four hours in. He had six left before the seals might break, or worse his fans would open up to prevent overheating. He hoped his clock was correct, if not he'd be in much more trouble than he realized.
==========
Nines is drowning, in a sense, and it is up to the DPD to get him out before the water seals give out. -
