Summary
Arthur’s life starting at age 8 until just before the events of Colter. This is a love story of sorts while also shedding light on how the gang came to be, told through the lens of Arthur and his childhood.
Chapters with asterisks around them include smut, but they are marked as such within the chapter and can be easily skipped—99% of the smut in this fic have no plot progression so it is purely written and read for fun!
Finally, I’ve written this with time appropriate American states, territories, and habits as I combine the fictional world and map of RDR2 into the real 1800s american west to the best of my ability. Everything written is following the canon story provided to us, nothing challenges fictional hypotheses or fantasy. Thanks for reading!

Summary
Book one ends with two major diffrences: 1. Sokka went on the mission with Hahn (it did not go well) 2. Zhao survives the North Pole and that proves unfortunate for everybody (except Zhao, obviously)
Imprisoned on Zhao’s war ship, Sokka and Zuko have to work together to survive. They are not very enthusiastic about this prospect.
And they argue.

Summary
Zuko, Sokka thinks, is like a black cat. Looks elegant, but is in reality a ball of anger and disdain. Above it all, however, he's an ill omen, always present when Sokka's world is going to shit.
Aang is captured by the Fire Nation? Of course, that’s Zuko's fault.
Suki's village is set ablaze? Zuko's around setting things on fire.
The North Pole is besieged? Oh hey, Zuko's here.
Sokka is trapped on a remote island with no way to get home, his friends missing and possibly dead? It was honestly stupid of him to think Zuko wouldn't be there. Still, as days stretch into weeks without any sign of help, maybe it's better to have company than to try to accomplish the impossible feat of getting home alone.
...maybe.
