Summary
Sebastian and MC had a bad falling out after the events of fifth year - and that's putting it mildly. Now, years later, they find themselves stuck working together on some Merlin-forsaken mountain. Tempers are high from the start, and things only spiral down further as they ascend to their destination.
This work is finally finished, with one additional chapter than anticipated! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

He’ll balance his classes, new job, good grades, future career prospects, and his social life, all while promising to never delve into dark magic again. He promises to figure out a way to make it up to Anne, win Ominis’s trust back, and help Theo hone in on her ancient magical abilities. When Sebastian Sallow sets his mind to something, he rarely gives up (clearly to his own detriment).
Promises are easy to make at sixteen, and even easier to break as one gets older.

Best of its kind (that is, Seb/OC). Also easily one of the best fics I've ever read in general.
Love the dual timeline narrative, and the characters are portrayed in a very believable and authentic manner. Heavy topics (something the author didn't shy away from, which I'm very grateful for) are dealt with very realistically as well.The only bad thing about this is that it's pushed my expectations through the roof for other fics.
1000/10 would recommend!
