Summary
Suho positions the cigarette between his lips, wraps his mouth around it and takes a deep drag. The bitterness deliberately engulfs his mouth, reaches for his lungs, and settles for a brief second. He doesn't exhale right away, instead, he cups Sieun’s jaw, tugging him until they’re mere inches apart.
He coaxes Sieun with a finger to his chin, urging him to part his lips. He does, he gapes his mouth, patiently waiting for further instructions. Suho releases the smoke into his mouth, whispering out a small ‘breath’ in the process.
Sieun inhales the smoke as advised, he seals his mouth shut, and mimics what Suho does earlier, allowing the smoke to extend and reach every corner of his mouth, only breathing out when he feels lightheaded. The smoke that exits his throat coats Suho’s face, fogging his vision, but he doesn't budge, simply stares Sieun down as he rubs soothing circles to his jaw.
"Good boy," he praises, "you did so well."
Or, Suho's desire to earn Sieun's attention is strong, and shotgunning is the only way to do it.

His eyes flickered to the hair in question then pulled away. “Is this gonna be a permanent new thing?” he quickly added, “The hair.”
Suho pouted. “Why, you don't like it?”
“Is it for Jaeun? Does she like it?” Sieun hoped he didn’t sound as bitter as he felt.
He shrugged. “I don’t know. But it’s cute, yeah? I think I look handsome.”

"I’m still waiting for my hug.”
The sudden sound jolted Sieun from his thoughts with a start. As Suho’s words finally registered, he felt his breath lodge in his throat—a sharp sound of disbelief and wonder bubbling its way up his chest—dying in his throat before it left his lips. His eyes flicked up, wide and almost afraid to believe what he’d just heard.
A… hug?
Slowly—ever so slowly—Sieun’s feet began to move. One step, then another. As if drawn forward by some invisible thread tied between their chests. As if Suho’s quiet patience was enough to keep the earth steady beneath him—keep him from falling to the ground before he even reached him.
Aka, how I wanted the reunion scene to go in the drama, complete with a sprinkle of inside jokes and memories from the previous season cause I like hurting myself :')

Sieun’s breath caught in his throat. He looked away, blinking once, then again, as heat spread across his cheeks and down the back of his neck. His voice, when it came, was barely more than a breath.
“Yah…” he mumbled, a protest in name only.
But Suho just chuckled, letting his hands fall. His eyes stayed on Sieun’s face, glittering with a kind of lazy happiness.
And that was the moment the next line slipped out of his mouth—“Say baby, you shall kiss me tonight…”
It was soft. Almost absentminded.And the second they passed his lips—
Sieun’s steps faltered.Aka, Suho and Sieun slow-dance in the hospital and somewhere between clumsy steps and stolen glances, their hearts stumble as well.
