Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Despite all the time that had passed, their classroom 2-2 had barely changed. The permanent dent etched into corner of the chalkboard was still there, and it was all too easy to imagine Moroking or Sofue behind the lectern, regaling their class with lessons that Yosuke had long forgotten about.
The view was made better as Yu slid into the desk in front of him, and in this blissfully empty classroom, there’s no need for note-passing or chair-kicking like they used to do. Yu turned around with an easy smile, cheek resting against fist as he beamed at Yosuke.
“So?” Yu started, “how does it feel?”

The Jupiter was a perfectly respectable establishment, as far as Jason was concerned. The bar came packed with all of the usual: the latest drinks, plush seating, and, most importantly, a relatively well-known jazz singer. It’s legality was none of anyone’s concern; anyone who knew what was good for them kept their mouth shut, and, since prohibition, it had moved to an old wine cellar; now password protected on entry.
He had been running the bar- supposedly inherited from his father, although he’d never met the man- for some fifteen years now, and, now more than ever, business was booming. He knew the names of each and every one of his clientele, where they lived, and which drink was their usual. That was why it was a surprise when the stranger walked in.

Sadly, "Nico di Angelo walks into a bar" isn't the start of a joke, but he is definitely up to something, even after Miss Levesque gives her word of approval for him to come in.
