Summary
In 1983, months before Will Byer's disappearance, Steve Harrington goes missing.
It's not big news and the police say they know where he's gone, but they won't share anything else. It's something Steve is grateful for. After all, if anyone found out he was in a group home for troubled and unwanted kids, rooming with one Eddie 'The Freak' Munson, he'd never be able to go back.
But as Eddie pushes his buttons and his therapist forces him to untangle some of his twisted thoughts and memories, Steve realizes maybe--just maybe--he doesn't want to go back to normal.

Katsuki swallowed again, his breath turning into pants. He felt like he was burning up, blood turned into lava, his skin flushed and sensitive. His mind was one scrambled mess, going a hundred miles per minute while feeling all woozy.
He had never felt like that in his entire life.
He didn’t want it to stop.
Or, five times Katsuki walked away with a boner, and one time Izuku did something about it.

The good part is that Steve has had a crush on the Princess since he met the guy when they were nine, and gets to spend every day with him. The bad part is that Steve is… slowly losing his ability to stay quiet about his affections, especially with how Eddie has been acting up recently…
Or: an a/b/o fic with smut out the wazoo, and some mild plot for taste. the concept was royal eddie and his guard dog, and god did we write that.
