Summary
Life after Will had thrown the two of them off of a cliff had been, undoubtedly, very different. Will often found himself seeing Hannibal in a new light. He noticed the little things he’d do that his previous feelings about the other man had prevented him from seeing. As for Hannibal, his love had seemed to grow even stronger, if possible. Maybe Will was starting to realize he loved Hannibal, too.

"Do you think it impossible for me to desire you, Will?" Hannibal asked. He gently guided Will's head away from his shoulder so they were looking at each other. Will couldn't divert his eyes. "Or is it impossible for you to accept that I do?"
Will swallowed. "You're a monster."
Hannibal smiled at that, a dark, sinister thing that sent a strangely pleasant shiver down Will's spine. "Il Mostro is a moniker of mine, but does that make my affection any less real?"

"Hannibal is married?" Alana asked in clear disbelief. "I didn't know that."
"I've had dinner at his house before and I've never met his spouse," Jack added, as if he didn't believe Hannibal was actually married.
"I was there," Will said, beyond confused at what Jack was saying. "I ate dinner with you."
"So, you've never met them either," Jack said, Will's words seeming to confirm his theory for some reason.
Did they even hear what they were saying?

Or, Will is leaving to go on a trip for a conference, to the dismay of his colleagues. During his attempt to escape the ensuing conversation, they are surprised to find out Hannibal is married.

"Hello? Dr. Lecter?"
"…This is Will," he finally said, voice rough with sleep.
There was a short bout of silence.
"Will? I must've called the wrong—no, I didn't. Why are you at Dr. Lecter's house?" Jack asked, sounding confused.
"What do you mean? Where else would I be?" Will asked. He was too tired to think much about what he was saying. "He's my husband, of course I'd be here."
The line suddenly went dead.

Or, Will accidentally reveals that he and Hannibal are married. Except, he thought everyone already knew.
